Henry Moya

In the comfort and care of family members that loved and respected him, our father passed away on February 27, 2019 in Arizona.

He was born on February 14, 1931 in Belen, New Mexico. He married the love of his life, a beautiful redhead, Ruth Brown, in 1954, who preceded him in death on January 28, 2010, age 72.

Henry was a disabled U.S. Army veteran of three foreign wars. All he would say about that was, “He was a soldier that loved his country”.

He had a sharp, uncanny sense of humor. He was more interested about “you” than talking about himself.

He was hungry for knowledge. He was formally educated, loved traveling, and was well-read. He was kind, generous, and an animal lover. He was a principled man; he respected life, he appreciated it.

Henry is survived by two daughters, one son-in-law (who he considered his son), five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He poured everything he had to give into his family. We were honored and privileged to have loved, lived, and laughed with such a “Beautiful Soul”. His teachings, wisdom, love, optimism and jokes will be celebrated for generations to come.

He will deeply be missed.
