Alice June Mueller, 65 years old of Gilbert, Arizona passed away May 8th 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona.  Alice worked as an Escrow Officer in Arizona for 38 years.  She recently retired and was working part time as a mobile notary.

Alice is survived by her husband of 33 years, Chris A. Mueller and their daughter Tracy Reed and her husband Mike of Edna, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents Alan and Marrieta Lockwood.

Alice was born in El Paso, Texas and traveled the world as a “military brat”.  Some of her favorite places were Turkey, the Philippines and Greece.  Her love of travel only continued as she and Chris travelled whenever possible.  Their most recent adventure was to Hawaii where they spent two weeks exploring the islands.

Alice enjoyed bowling with friends and family.  They had some notorious teams names…like, the M&Ms, the Fireballs and Salt & Pepper.  She loved animals of all kind and especially horses.  Alice had a warm and endearing spirit which enabled her to connect with anyone.  She never met a stranger and was welcoming to all.

“Double A” and “Awesome Alice” were just a couple of nicknames we called you when we bowled together in league. We always had fun and you were always a bright light, smiling, and always kind to everyone. You were taken way too soon and will be dearly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Chris and Tracy, I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Alice June as a kid and whenever Uncle Allen and Aunt Rita and Alice were home (Maryland), her and I hung out together at Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop Lockwoods. Even back then she was fun and bubbly and kind. Memories will keep you with her now and always.
    Cousin Joanie
