Gary Martin was born on March 16, 1942 in Phoenix, AZ and passed away on April 21, 2020, in Flagstaff, AZ. Gary is survived by his loving wife Charlie of 53 years; son Kelly and his wife Bobbie Jo; son Jake; brother Michael (Pat); brother Randy (Karen); and grandchildren Ona, Ritner, and Adi Jo, soon to be great-grandchild.  Gary is predeceased by his grandson Brandon, his brother Dennis, and his parents Herbert and Retha.

Gary served as a U.S. Marine Sgt, he was a private pilot, owned a marine business, a wood-working company, and he was a great outdoorsman. He served for seven years as a branch president at the LDS Church in Christopher Creek, AZ.

Gary’s family was his greatest love and joy. We salute you U.S. Marine Sgt. We know you are looking over us from above in that knee-high grass.

    My sincere and heart felt condolences to Charlene my “Sis” and to all Gary’s family and friends. Having just lost my husband of 59 years and now my brother-in-law of 53 years my heart feels your pain and sorrow. I will miss Gary, his smile and his teasing. God Bless you all.

He made others feel good about life , and comfortable, when you were around him: this is a great gift from a human being to mankind.
