Jacob Thomas Holden, 25, was born December 7, 1993 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He moved to Gilbert, Arizona with his family in 1996. He graduated from Higley High School in 2012.  He passed away on September 28, 2019.

He is survived by his parents, Kristin and Jason Zakaras and Robert Holden II; his daughter, Paisley Renee Holden and her mother, Raquel Ochoa; his brother, Robert (Anne) Holden III,; his sister, Sara Kay (Josh) Marshall; his nephew, Andrew Marshall; his niece, Abigail Holden; his grandfather, George Page; his great-grandmother, Mrs. Bernadine Crowley; countless aunts, uncles, and cousins, and especially his favorite cousin/brother, Cody Page.

Jacob was an avid athlete; he loved and played every sport with overwhelming enthusiasm. He was smart, funny, artistic, and a best friend to all. His daughter was his absolute pride and joy. He would go to any length to make people laugh, and simultaneously correct their grammar. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He struggled for many years with addiction that unfortunately he was unable to overcome. In lieu of flowers, please donate to any charity helping addicts and their recovery.

A celebration of Jacob’s life will be held October 14th at 3 p.m. at:

San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home
