It is with great sadness that the family of John (Alex) Alexander Fisher, 45, of Florence, Arizona, announce his passing on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Florence AZ.

Alex was born in Winsted, Connecticut to Bruce and Geri Fisher on December 10, 2017.  He went to St Anthony’s through 8th grade and graduated from Gilbert High School in 1990 and Ripon College in 1994.  He married Kristi Fisher on August 3, 2002 in Enfield, Connecticut. He spent his career in the Banking/Mortgage Industry and had a great passion for numbers.

He loved to work on cars with his brother Doug and he enjoyed building model and radio control cars. He loved to wakeboard and bike. He was a wrestling State Champion in high school. He loved all sports especially football and played College Football in college. He loved being a Merriman.

He loved his five children and took great joy in being a Dad. He loved going shooting and building guns with Nic. He loved watching his son Justin play football and wrestle. He loved tossing balls to William and Jaxen and hearing his baby girl sing to him.

Alex is preceded in death by his father, Bruce S. Fisher and his brother, Douglas William Fisher.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi, and his children, Nicholas Versteeg, Justin(13), William(7), Jaxen(5) and Emma(5) Fisher of Arizona; his brothers, Bruce Fisher and wife Paula of Smyrna, TN and Christopher Fisher of South Windsor, CT; his sister, Jennifer Merriam and her husband John of Torrington, CT; his sister-in-law, Christina Fisher of Winsted, CT; his niece, Danielle and nephews, Robert, Cody, Jonah, Jared and Sebastian.

Visitation will be at 9:00am and Funeral Services at 10:00am on Friday, December 15, 2017 at San Tan Valley LDS Stake Center, 1521 E Bella Vista Rd San Tan Valley, AZ 85132. Burial will follow at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, AZ.

There will be a service held in Connecticut in January for family and friends.
