On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, Paulette Green, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away suddenly, in peace, at the age of 77. Paulette was born on July 15, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Paul and Katherine (LaSagna) Rush and was their oldest child. On December 21, 1963 she married James Green, Sr. They raised a son, James, and daughter, Laura.
Paulette enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she always seemed to have a glass of Pepsi, with extra ice, by her side. She will dearly be missed by many family and friends.
Paulette was preceded in death by her father, Paul, and her mother, Katherine; her sister Joann and twin brothers at birth. She is survived by her husband James Green Sr and their two children James (wife Lisa) Green and Laura (husband George) Clemons; her beloved grandchildren Miranda (husband Robert) Lukey, Tommy Green, Joey Green, and Robby Green; her beloved great-grandchildren Zain Lukey, and Lillyana Lukey; her beloved brothers Paul (late Patricia) Rush II, John Rush, Tom (wife Lyn) Rush, and Michael (wife Julie) Rush; and her beloved sisters Martha Lehmann, Betty (husband Daryl) Eckhardt, and Faye (husband Larry) Reheis, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Christ the Victor Lutheran Church – 6173 E Arizona Farms Rd, Florence, AZ 85132 – at 3 o’clock p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served after the Memorial Service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the church’s food bank, or Victor’s Closet, both of which Paulette and Jim were actively involved.
