Harold Dewey Foster, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on July 19, 2015. Born on September 15, 1917, in Triumph, Illinois, Harold was born to Jesse and Mabel Dewey Foster. He was the oldest of five children and is preceded in death by his brothers, Howard and Donald, and survived by his sisters, Helen and Doris Jean. Harold served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War 2 and was captured on about December 20, 1944 in Germany. He was liberated on March 30, 1945 from a German prison camp. During a leave from the war, on August 8, 1942, he married Margaret Jean Walker in Alexandria, Louisiana. Together they had two daughters, Carol Jean Gregg Johnson and Diane Sue Angelotti Delhotal. While living in Mendota, he and Jean operated Foster’s Upholstery and he was an active member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Mendota, the Lions Club, the VFW, and was also city councilman. They retired to Casa Grande, Arizona in 1988, where they celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary prior to Jean’s passing. He was an avid fisherman and golfer, and shared both of these activities with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harold is survived by his daughters, Carol and Diane; five grandchildren, Kathryn Jean Gregg Gonzales, Christopher Lawrence Angelotti, Kevin Scott Gregg, Karri Sue Gregg Alberti and James Foster Angelotti; 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren, with one more due in two weeks. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, his wife and his son-in-law, Richard Lee Gregg. John Walter Godzwon, 32, passed away at home on Monday, July 13, 2015 in San Tan Valley, Arizona. He was born October 1, 1982 to Walter and Mary Ann Godzwon in Southfield, Michigan. In January 2006, he met his wife, Kathryn Kreutter, and on July 12, 2014, they wed in their home state of Michigan.  John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as watching/attending any and all Detroit sporting events (especially the Tigers). He was an Account Representative within the Auto Finance Department at JP Morgan Chase.  John’s true passion though was relaxing on the water with his fishing rod. John is survived by his beloved wife Kathryn; his parents, Walter and Mary Ann; his sister, Laura; along with his aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel; in lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
