Searching for funeral homes in Phoenix during any holiday time can be tough, especially when everyone seems focused on celebrating. However, giving you and yours some emotional and mental distance in between some of the (pre-)planning stages, can be helpful – even healthy for you. Especially if you have family and friends around to support you. That said, here are some Independence Day events around the valley:
Glendale Independence Day Car Show & Fireworks, July 4th, 6 – 11 p.m., Victory Lane Sports Park, 22603 N. 43rd Ave.: View over 200 cars. Eat and drink at the onsite bar and restaurant. Sports and activities happen throughout the day. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
Phoenix Red White & Boom, July 3rd, Pecos Park at Pecos Rd and 48th St., 5 – 10 p.m.: Celebrate this Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce free event with water activities, a zip line and carnival games. Fireworks start off at 9 p.m.
