Claudia Martinez Elias, 37, passed away on June 18, 2015 in Queen Creek, Arizona. She was born on August 18, 1977 in Piedra Gorda, Zacatecas, Mexico to Jose Guadalupe Martinez and Leticia Elias.
Claudia grew up in Zacatecas, Mexico. She came from a loving and strong family.
She married Juan Luis Gonzalez on June 18, 2000 in Piedra Gorda, Zacatecas. They were happily married for 15 years. She was a devoted Catholic Christian, who enjoyed attending mass. She was a kindhearted person who inspired many. Most importantly, she was a responsible mother, respectful, and a caring woman, who always had a smile on her face. She loved red roses, shopping, CrossFit, and family reunions. She was a dedicated person who worked very hard to provide for her family. She valued education, studying accounting at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas in Mexico. Claudia had many special qualities, some being giving, faithful, loyal, spiritual, inspiring, amazing sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was determined, and always positive. Her favorite color was purple and she loved butterflies, similar to her daughter. Her wishes were for her family to always be surrounded by love and happiness.
Claudia was always very thankful for the many ways you all showed support and love during her last chapter. Although she is no longer with us, we are left with her great example of courage, strength, and love for life.
Claudia is survived by her husband, Juan; daughter, Paola; and son, Sebastian, all of Queen Creek, Arizona; her father, Jose Guadalupe; mother, Leticia; and sister, Gabriela (Gerardo Noriega) of Mesa Arizona; and many friends and family from Mexico and all over the U.S.
The Viewing will be held at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S, Ellsworth Rd. Queen Creek, AZ 85142 from 6-9 pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
The family will hold a Mass at 10:30 am on June 24, 2015 at her parish, Our Lady of Guadalupe, 20615 E Ocotillo Rd Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
The family will be greeting friends and relatives during these times.
