William Eaton

William (Bill) Eaton, 66, of San Tan Valley, AZ passed away in San Tan Valley, AZ on July 15, 2016.
Bill was born in Oakland, CA on August 19, 1949. He was the son of Lucille (Eaton) Hayes and Willard Eaton. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carlyn, and daughters Sandy Rodrigues of San Tan Valley AZ, Renee Caster (Scott) of Phoenix, AZ, and Karen Shogren (Peter) of San Tan Valley, AZ. ; three grandchildren, Kent Rinker (Jessica) of Hawaii, Tiana MacGregor of Phoenix, AZ and Brandon Rodrigues of San Tan Valley, AZ and great grandchildren, Landon Rickman, Laramie Rinker and Sawyer Rinker of Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Michelle Ysunza.
After high school, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army serving from 1967 to 1973, stationed in the U.S., Germany and two tours of Vietnam.
Bill worked for many years for University Art in San Jose, CA before moving to Arizona in 2008. His last employment was with Home Depot in Apache Junction. He loved golfing, camping and hiking and last participated in a half marathon in San Jose, CA in 2007. But most of all he loved his wife and family and enjoyed holidays and making his famous tacos for them. He will be missed beyond comprehension.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Banner M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Banner Hospice for all of their support. At Bill’s request, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Banner Hospice 275 E. Germann Rd., Suite 110, Gilbert, AZ 85297 are appreciated.

He will be missed by many but we will celebrate his life and laugh at the memories of his orangutan impression and smile when we think of his teaching us girls how to swim or playing Santa just to name a couple. We will always love him and know that he is another guardian angel liooking over us.
