Alice Irene Leeper Reeves, age 77 of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away on January 24th, 2017.
Alice was born July 31st, 1939 in Pekin, Illinois.
Alice loved genealogy and American history. She taught herself to play the piano and loved to have family sing alongs. She was very creative and enjoyed painting and crocheting. She was an active member of The Phoenix Church of Christ. She was baptized on July 3, 2016 which was one of the most joyous days of her life.
Alice is survived by 7 children, Terry Keene of Rochester, Minnesota, Thomas Keene of Wappapello, Missouri, Robert Keene of Morganton, North Carolina, Scott Reeves of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Melissa Loftus of Grafton, Illinois, Rachel Roberts of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Thaddeus Reeves of Springfield, Missouri, as well as 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her smiling face will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and also by her church family.
Alice is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Leeper, her mother, Opal Skinner, her sister, Daphna Haynes, her brother, Ray Leeper, and her brother, Cecil Leeper.
The Celebration of Life will be held at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home at 21809 S Ellsworth Rd #101, Queen Creek, AZ 85142 on Monday, January 30th, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Gary Sciascia, Lead Evangelist of The Phoenix Church of Christ will be officiating.

One of my favorite memories was the summer I spent in Alhambra with you. Even though i got in big trouble for feeding the chickens toasted marshmallows 🙂 love you Aunt Alice. Give dad a big hug for me from his Suzie Q.
