Deborah Ann Womack, 53, known as RED, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2017 in San Tan Valley, AZ. Life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Graduated from Tri-State of Franklin, and Newbury College, her gentle smile, her bright natural red hair, and her warm laugh always welcomed you into her life. Never judging, never giving up on anyone, always giving of herself, Deborah was one of the richest persons in the world because she had so many friends, and was loved by even more especially her new granddaughter. Privately she was a strong Catholic, and had a devotion to Christ. She loved to dance, draw, and was a designer for homes and businesses. She jumped into education for over 13 years and excelled as an Enrollment Counselor at Grand Canyon University. She helped thousands of young people reach their dreams with just a voice through a phone. Although a time of sadness, her love will light up the darkest nights and her voice carried within the wind will give comfort to all that loved her and know that she is dancing till the time we join her.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; three children, Thomas II, Alexandria, and Courtney (Kevin) Horton; her brother, Frank (Tori) Yee of Franklin MA; her mother-in-law, Rowena Womack of Warsaw, IN; her Aunt Marcia (Keith) Obillo; brothers-in-law Steven (Debi) Womack of Casper WY, Robert (Karen) Womack of Cheyenne WY, Jonathan Womack of Norton, MA, Jerry (Mary) Womack, and sister-in-law Diane (Guy) Shaw, both of Warsaw IN; as well as nine nieces and four nephews. Deborah’s new granddaughter, Emilia Horton (little E) only experienced her for a very short time, but Nana placed a life time of love in her heart.
