Kim Boger

Kim Boger, age 63, of Queen Creek, AZ (formerly of Grand Forks, ND), took the checkered flag for his final lap in life on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

Kim was born on April 6, 1956, the son of Dutch and Dorothy Boger, in Ada, MN. He graduated from Underwood High School in Underwood, ND in 1974. After earning his degree in sheet metal from the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, and a short stay in North Platte, NE, he moved back to Underwood, where he worked construction with his dad. He then met Cindy Trautner and they were married in BeJou, MN in 1977, and they had two daughters, Tracy and Trina.

Kim started working for C.L. Linfoot in Grand Forks, ND in 1979. He married his “Yummy Girl”, Shawn Enlow, in 1988, and welcomed a baby boy, Mik, in 1990. Kim retired from Linfoot in 2010, and later that year he and Shawn moved to Arizona, where he was living the dream of being self-employed.

Kim is survived by his wife of 31 years, Shawn; his son, Mik; his daughters, Tracy and Trina (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Dylan and Ava; his siblings, Mike Baumgartner, Marilyn Ash, Connie Scheer, Tamara Bankowski and Jody Patterson; and two extra special aunts, Beatrice Sather and Lavonne Babler.

He was preceded in death by Dutch and Dorothy, and numerous aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd., Queen Creek, AZ.
