Erin Michele Acocks Lewallen, 43, of Marquette, Michigan suddenly passed away Saturday morning, August 17, 2019 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona from multiple organ failure.
Erin was born at St Luke’s Hospital on May 21, 1976 in Marquette, Michigan and in 1981 the Acocks family moved to Fullerton, California.
Erin attended Anaheim High School in Anaheim, California graduating in 1994. She spent most of her life in Southern California, first working for her dad, Michael Acocks, at his overhead door company, then with her mother, Nancy Cleary Knutti, in her loan processing business, and then with Wells Fargo Bank in Mission Viejo, California as a loan specialist. In 2018, the Lewallen family, along with mom Nancy, moved to Queen Creek, Arizona taking advantage of a Wells Fargo job opportunity/transfer.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Lewallen; sons, Kyle, presently at the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Center at Great Lakes, Illinois with a future in the Navy’s nuclear power program, Andrew, a sophomore in high school; her four year-old daughter, Natalie; her mother, Nancy Cleary Knutti of Marquette, presently living in Queen Creek; and father, Michael Acocks (Jan) of Marquette, presently living in Valley Springs, California; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Erin was preceded in death by her older sister, Carrie Ellen Acocks, in 1984, of cystic fibrosis.
