Linda Leilani Hadler, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home July 25th, 2020. She was born November 14, 1956 to Tom and Ruth Shafnisky in Honolulu Hawaii. Celebration of life will be at later date.
Mom spent her younger years in southern California before planting roots in Wyoming, New Mexico, North Dakota and most finally Arizona.
First and foremost, she lived for her daughters and grandkids and endeared every moment with them. She enjoyed nature, spending her days feeding the birds and using her green thumb to care for her plants and trees. She loved bargain shopping and should have taken stock in Kohls, cooking, and sitting by the pool with Rick. She had a passion for animals, but the strongest devotion was her dogs. Her hands were rarely still.
Mom overcame many personal and health struggles in her 63 years to become a strong, compassionate, courageous, sincere and generous person. She had a contagious laugh and always had a smile. Her joy was found in the happiness of others.
She is survived by Gina Morang of St. Paul MN, Dawn Thompson of Reno, NV, Lindsey Nygard of Tioga, ND, and Savanna Hadler (Travis Egberto) of Gillette, WY.
She is also survived by her cherished love, Richard Oien of San Tan Valley, AZ; grandkids, Mark Morang, Cooper Triepke, Hailie Morang, Austin & Paytin Thompson, Kaitlyn & Hans Halverson, and Elijah & Autumn Egberto; sisters, Marie Gay and Jean Torres; brothers, Mike Platter, Tom, Jerry & Bill Shafnisky; as well as many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth & Tom, and her brother Sonny Platter.
