Bonnie Lou Travis, 83 years young, passed away on January 4, 2021. Bonnie leaves behind her high school sweetheart and husband of 63 years, Sidney Travis. Sid and Bonnie began dating in high school and were the Homecoming King and Queen of Winslow High School in 1955. Eventually they moved from the corner of Winslow, Arizona to Scottsdale where their love story continued with the addition of their children Scott and Tammy. Bonnie worked for the Scottsdale School District for many years and enjoyed the friendship and support of many friends/colleagues, particularly her “board members.” She loved her family more than anything, and the list of people who will be missing her is long: son Scott (LaDene, Adeline, Nora, and Tyrel), daughter Tammy (Zak, MacKenzie, and Riley), sister Judy (Lori, Debbie, Barbara and Brian), and many grand-nieces and nephews. For your safety, the family will not be hosting in-person services. Please share your memories of Bonnie at www.santanmountainviewfuneralhome.com.
