Bettye Irene Overturf, 97, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021, in Queen Creek, Arizona. She was born on November 9, 1923 in Farson, Iowa, to Charles and Jessie Dunn.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Ray Overturf; sister, Marylou Hensyl; brother, Charles Dunn and her parents.
Bettye is survived by her daughter, Linda Roman (Alan) of Queen Creek, AZ; son, Timothy Overturf (Ann) of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Amy Roman Simpson (Brian), Michelle Roman, Lauren Koritko (Dustin), Dane Overturf, Kelli Uy (Ethan), Leif Overturf, Paige Overturf, Drew Overturf (Elisa) and Holly Schott (Brandon),Clay Overturf and great-grandchildren, Will, Madison, Cade, Victoria and Jack Koritko, Koryn and Wesley Uy and Emma Schott.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Song of Life United Methodist Church, 20164 S. Sossaman Rd., Queen Creek, AZ, 85142. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Bettye Overturf to Pastor’s Discretionary Fund, Song of Life United Methodist Church, 20164 S. Sossaman Rd., Queen Creek, AZ, 85142.
