Walter Ballard Jr., 80, of San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away on May 10, 2022.  He was born in Monroe, LA, on July 23, 1941 to Walter and Reathea Ballard.

Walter is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a carpenter.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Napoleon, Bernard, Charles, David and Willie Ballard and grandmother, Gertrude Riser Berry.

Walter is survived by his loving wife, Warnnie Sampson Ballard; daughter, Nicole Ballard; sons, Michael (Angel) Ballard, William (Natasha) Ballard and Napoleon (Meiniquekee) Ballard; sister, Ivory W. Ballard Sherman and brother William Ballard hosts of grandchildren and great grandchildren

A memorial service for Walter will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 12:00 PM at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd. Queen Creek, AZ, 85142.
