Bobbi Sue Horton, 34, most recently of Phoenix, AZ, died in her home on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022. She was born in Lewiston Idaho, but moved to Arizona at age two. As a young girl in Mesa, her favorite past times were hanging out at Skateland, watching her favorite movie “Sister Act”, and being the target of her older sisters pranks, which she was happy to pass the torch on to her baby sister in later years.
Bobbi received her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and once decorated a room at the Ronald McDonald House. She later pivoted to the service and hospitality industry in her most recent role as General Manager. She was a dedicated worker with big goals and not afraid to work hard for them.
Bobbi enjoyed decorating, crafts, hiking, shopping and wine. She was blessed with a close knit family with many life long friends made along the way.
Bobbi is survived by her parents, Tina Holman Sumey and Jim Sumey; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Shayla and Nick Wilkerson, Shawna Laplante, and Alyssa and Michael Terrill; her grandmother, Sharon Patrick; her nieces, Kinsey Almanza and Lyannah Sumey; her nephews, Bryton and Braxton Wilkerson; and her cousins, Codi and Brent Allen and Whitney Williams.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis Sanders; her aunt, Tonua Lewis; and her cousin, Jacinta Williams.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 30 at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, with a visitation at 12:00 p.m. and a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms, 22425 E. Cloud Road, Queen Creek.
