I am deeply saddened by the loss of my grandmother, Mamie. She was indeed an angel. I will forever cherish my memories with her listening to Freddy Fender, watching soap operas, admiring her Elvis plate collection, feeding birds, and playing in the garden. Gardening and canning were a huge part of her life, and I am blessed to have learned from her and my grandfather. My Mamie is a kind, gentle, and compassionate woman I admire and love. I am eternally blessed and grateful for her and the love she gave me. I always strive to make her proud and will continue to do so until we can see each other again.
Ginette is gone now from this earthly dwelling and has left behind those who mourn her absence. Grant that we may hold her memory dear, never bitter for what we have lost, nor in regret for the past, but always in the hope of the eternal Kingdom where you will bring us together again.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
