I lost my sister this week. Some of you knew Amberlee and some of you did not. She was beautiful, smart, athletic and creative but she also struggled with addiction for almost 20 years of her life and unfortunately that caused so much pain, guilt, distance, tragedy, and regret. I loved her relentlessly through all of it. My heart aches for my mother who has now had to say goodbye to a grandchild and her first born, something she never should’ve had to do. But, being the incredible women she is she did it with grace and composure I could only hope for. I believe that Amberlee has been set free. Free from the weight and struggles of dependency, free from the guilt of poor choices and the feeling of being in so deep she could never climb out of the despair. I believe she is at peace with Collin, and that they are again holding eachother in pure bliss for eternity.

I am so very, very sorry to hear about the passing of Amberlee. I will always remember her laugh, and her ability to spread sunshine and happiness everywhere she went. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    To the Query family,
So very sorry for your loss. All humans feel this unnatural sting of death and its only natural to comfort each other. The scriptures impart hope at James 5:28,29 that we can see our loved ones again and without the circumstances we currently live in.
The scriptures have been provided to give comfort and show us what Gods loving plan is for those who enter rest. Take peace, Amberlee is free. For comfort from the Bible, please visit bit.ly/Deathjworg

  5. Me says:

I loved Amberlee. I spent months with her after Colin’s death. She is everything her sister remembers because that’s who she was to her.

We must remember we live in a world not everyone is special when we have to fight to survive.
