Steven Paul Dubej passed away on May 26th, 2024, at Mercy Gilbert Hospital in Arizona surrounded by his loving wife and family after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he resided for 40 years before moving to Queen Creek, AZ.
As a chief engineer by trade, Steve was a highly skilled problem solver. His passion for life was demonstrated on snowmobiles and motorcycles with his family and friends by his side.
Everyone that knew him, respected him. He will be missed by so many and remembered for the legacy of determination he left with all of us.
He is preceded in death by father, Stefan Dubej, and sister, Anita Zeik (John).
Steve is survived by his wife, of 45 years, Pam (Merrell) Dubej; his two sons, Nick (Angie) Dubej, Eric (Tracy) Dubej; mother, Paula Dubej; grandchildren, Lauren, Ty, Aiden, Levi, and Emma; siblings, Ingrid (Mike) Eckberg, Tony (Luanne) Dubej, Michael (Kim) Dubej; many Nieces, nephews, and one great niece.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 10th at 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 4:00 p.m. at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd., Queen Creek, Arizona, 85142.
In the short time i worked with Steve he left a immediate impression of kindness and a willingness to help solve problems. I will work hard today to be a bit more like him in my craft. rest well Steve
