Chalmer Back, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, peacefully at home. He was born in Breathitt County, KY on June 12, 1937 to Lazarus and Viola Back. He grew up in the Breathitt County and graduated from Breathitt County High School with the class of 1956. He married Kathleen Adams on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1959. They had two wonderful kids, Regina and Billie Jo.

He had lots of love for his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved playing guitar with his church family and at home.

Chalmer is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his two girls, Regina (Greg) Moore and Billie Jo (Tom) Virgin; his grandchildren, Sarah Jo (Brian) Keyes and Dustin Moore; his great-grandchildren, David, Eli and Ella Keyes; one brother, Russell Back; and one sister, Cleda Childers.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christ’s Free Will Baptist Church in San Tan Valley, AZ on Sudnay, January 4 at 10:00 a.m.

Chalmer, we will miss you! Enjoy Heaven, we will all be together again someday!
