David Lyle Robinson
February 4, 1958 – June 2, 2026
David Lyle Robinson, 68, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away on June 2, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1958, in Safford, Arizona, to Lyle Tenney Robinson and Norlene (Weech) Robinson.
Dave grew up in Pima, Arizona. He served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sydney, Australia. He later met his eternal companion, Jolynn, at the ASU Institute, and they were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle; his mother, Norlene; his older sister, Lynne; and his nephew, Jacob.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jolynn Robinson; his children, Nicole Ricks (Tony), Erik Robinson, Chad Robinson, and Todd Robinson (Lacey); and his cherished grandchildren, William, Hallie, Isaiah, Gracie, Clara, Elizabeth, Andrew, Hayzen, Madison, Abigail, Quinn, Jack, Ryder, Landon, Courtlyn, and Paxton.
Dave is also survived by his siblings, Colleen Rocha (George), Lisa Norton (Eddie), Lori Mark, and John Robinson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on June 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel, 25885 S. 231st St., Queen Creek, AZ 85142. Interment will follow immediately afterward at San Tan Memorial Gardens, 22425 E. Cloud Rd., Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and for the life he built with those he loved most.
This news makes me so sad! I know my dear Cousin fought the hard fight & endured to the end. So many memories growing up together & all of our combined siblings are part of that pattern of memories I have! We love you Cousin Dave! See you on the other side!
You were both examples to me when I was serving my mission in your ward. Always kind, funny, had good stories, and gave wise advice. I still have that bolo tie and wear it occasionally. I remember Dave fondly, and offer my condolences.
