Ashley Marie Evans

June 14, 1990 – September 9, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ashley Marie Evans, 36, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Born on June 14, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Ashley grew up in Gilbert, Arizona. She graduated from Basha High School and had a successful career in healthcare management.

Ashley lived life loudly with a laugh that carried across the room and into our hearts. The love, compassion, and care she freely gave were gifts to all who were fortunate enough to meet her.

Above all else, Ashley was a loving mother. Her children were the light of her life. The strong foundation she built will follow her children throughout their lives.

Ashley is survived by her parents, Ian and Kim Overman. Her children, Faith Evans and Kade Valdez. Her siblings, Jordan Hathaway, Jakob Bustamante, Sarah Evans, Stormi Nelson (Alaska), and Grayson Eichelberger Evans. Her parenting team, Aaron Markiewicz, Mat and Courtlynn Valdez. She is also survived by Roberta Wilson, Tim Evans, and more aunts, uncles, and cousins than anyone can count.

She was preceded in death by her first mother, Julia Kummer.

A service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 2 pm.
