Within 24 hours of your loved one’s passing, you will need to begin making Mesa funeral arrangements. Although we know how difficult a time this is, we want you to know that we understand. Our experienced and caring staff at Mountain View Funeral Home will be there to make things as easy for you as possible.
Before meeting with one of our Funeral Directors, you will want to compile some information to help with the Mesa Funeral Arrangements. Bringing the following documents of the deceased’s will help us prepare the necessary paperwork:
You will also want to bring a recent photo for obituary and preparation purposes, as well as an appropriate outfit for burial.
When making Mesa Funeral Arrangements with the Funeral Director, you will be asked how many certified copies of the death certificate that you will need. As part of our services, we will obtain certified copies on your behalf. How many certified copies will you need? It depends on who might require one. You can review the list below to help you.
There is no need to send a certified copy to the Social Security Administration. We will take care of that for you. As well, a certified copy for “government use only” will be provided for Veteran’s Benefits at no charge to you.
We want you to know that our purpose at Mountain View is to walk alongside you and help you with all of your Mesa Funeral Arrangements. We know it is not an easy time. But please know that, no matter what time it is, day or night, we will be there for you. We will do all we can to help you through this difficult time.
