Brent R. Steffenhagen, 49, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.  His loving wife and parents were by his side.

Brent was born on February 2, 1976, to Robert and Judy Steffenhagen.  Brent graduated from Deforest H.S. in 1994 and from UW Platteville in 1999.  He moved to Arizona in 2003 and was currently working as a civil engineer for Hubbard Engineering Mesa, AZ.

Brent is survived by his wife, Sheena, sons, Theodore and Leonard, his parents and many close relatives and wonderful friends.  He was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Jeff.

Brent was a loving, caring, and a blessing to his family.  He was a devoted husband to Sheena and proud father to his sons.  Brent will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the joy he brought to our lives will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Deforest on Saturday, April 12, 2025.  Visitation will be from 9am to 11 am and service at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.

    Brent was such a sweetheart and such a grntle man. My heart breaks that his boys won’t know him. Rest well Brent, you will be greatly missed.

    I have loved every class I attended with Sheena as my Pilates coach and although I don’t know her husband or family well, the sadness of losing a spouse is felt. Praying for those that are grieving this significant lose.
