Daryl James Ayala, 41, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Daryl was born in El Paso, TX on September 22, 1983.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Belinda Espinoza, and his brother, Jorge Ayala.
Survivors include his parents: Arnulfo Ayala, and Aunt Marcy and Uncle Kevin Jessup. His sisters: Arnnette Alfaro, and Deborah Navarro. His brothers: Derek Ayala, Jason Gonzales, Josh Ayala, Sheldon Jessup, Clifford Jessup, and Clayton Jessup. He was also surrounded by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles he loved and adored.
Daryl enjoyed the outdoors, and hiked over 22 trails in Arizona. He found nature therapeutic and enjoyed watching nature documentaries. He found solace in reading motivational books and poetry. He loved a good challenge and was obsessed with chess, becoming a grandmaster. He loved keeping up with Apple technology and was the family IT guru. Daryl had a big heart and loved to make everyone laugh. He was an avid, loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. He was an amazing uncle and gave his nieces and nephews all his love and attention. He was generous with his time and resources and loved serving others. He was always there for whoever needed him.
Daryl’s celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024. The viewing will be from 9am-10:30am immediately followed by services at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints at 33794 N Gary Rd Queen Creek, AZ 85142. Daryl will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery at 7900 E Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207.
