David Taylor Frampton

May 9, 1958 – July 20, 2024

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend, David Taylor Frampton,
66, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family, on
July 20, 2024.
David was born in New Jersey on May 9, 1958, to Boyd and Dixie Frampton, but he
grew up in Provo, Utah. He attended Provo High School and Brigham Young University,
where he received his Bachelor of Science in Geology. David served a faithful two-year
mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Kobe, Japan, where he
touched many lives with the gospel. He married his high school sweetheart, Keri
Wheadon on August 14, 1979, in the LDS Provo Temple. Together they had three
beautiful children and built a wonderful life in Gilbert, Arizona, where he spent his career
as the President of Metering Services, Inc.

David put his family above anything else on earth. He loved his children
whole-heartedly, and adored his grandchildren, taking every opportunity to spend time
with and support them. Attending their events and watching them play sports was his
favorite way to spend any day of the week. They were, and still are, his pride and joy.
Nature was David’s second home. He appreciated the beauty of the outdoors and
enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved sports–baseball, softball, and
tennis in particular. His love for these things were transferred to his children,
grandchildren, and others he coached, as he freely shared his knowledge and passions
with others.
From an early age he developed a talent for documenting family events and activities
and in his later years became a master at making movies and music videos. One of the
greatest blessings in our lives was David’s ability to capture precious moments,
cementing our family legacy in our minds forever.

Known as a hard worker and a compassionate leader, David was appreciated by his
friends and loved ones for his generosity, good humor, integrity, and reassuring
presence. He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints, and his ward family loved him dearly. He served as a bishopric member, a scout
master, a primary teacher and, most recently, a gospel doctrine teacher, where his faith
in Christ was expressed with unique insight shaped by his refining relationship with
pancreatic cancer.

David is survived by his wife Keri Wheadon Frampton. His children Amber (Tyler)
DeWitt, Chase (Carrie) Frampton, Tiffanee (Toetu) Lepule. His grandchildren Emma
DeWitt, Hunter DeWitt, Raleigh Frampton, Leilani Lepule, Eliza Frampton, Kamila
Lepule, Crosby Frampton, and Tinea Lepule. His siblings Marianne(Ned) Bushnell,
Bruce(Connie) Frampton, Susan (Mark) Fisher, Paul(Jennifer) Frampton, Alan(Debbie)
Frampton, and Kent(Stacey) Frampton.

He is preceded in death by his parents Boyd and Dixie Frampton of Provo, UT and his
grandson Henry Chase Frampton.

We would like to share a special thank you to his friends, close neighbors, and family for
your love and support over the past year and a half. It meant so much to David and
lifted him as he battled.

Services for David will be held at Desert Ridge Stake Center (3440 S. Signal Butte Rd.,
Mesa, AZ 85212). Viewings will be held Friday, July 26, from 6-8 PM and Saturday, July
27, from 9-9:30 AM. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM.
