On June 26, 2025, our world stopped. Toby Cooper Harper, just 17 years old, was taken from us far too soon in a car accident, alongside his girlfriend, Haley Davis. Two beautiful lives, gone in an instant, but never forgotten.
Toby was born on May 13, 2008, in Tampa, Florida, and grew up in Queen Creek, Arizona. He was the oldest child of Dianna and David Harper, who raised him to be strong, loyal, and full of life. He was getting ready to start his senior year of high school.
He loved riding dirt bikes, shooting in the desert, blasting music, goofing off with friends, and chaotic family Sundays full of football and noise. He was easy to be around, always down for whatever, and loyal to the core but it was that smile that stuck with you. Big, real, and full of life. It’s something we’ll never forget.
Toby was family. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, and a cousin – and the joy in so many of our lives. He leaves behind his parents, Dianna and David Harper, and his younger siblings – Khloe (13), Denver (9), and Ridge (4). They looked up to him with so much love and admiration. He was their role model, their partner in fun, and the one who could always make them laugh.
Toby and Haley had a love that was young but deep. They were inseparable. They were planning memories, not goodbyes, and now, heartbreakingly, they’re together forever.
We’re shattered. We’re lost. But we’re also thankful. For 17 years of Toby. For every joke, every hug, and every memory we’ll hold tight for the rest of our lives.
A Visitation and Service for Toby will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Harper Residence, located at 3975 E Weston Lane, Queen Creek, AZ 85140.
Please come honor Toby in the way he would’ve wanted – with love, with laughter, and with stories that celebrate who he was. Bring your memories, your hugs, and your heart.
