Janice Marie Cole, affectionately known to all as “Granny,” age 82, was born on March 20, 1943, and passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, surrounded by love and the comfort of her family.
Granny was the heart of her family — a steady source of warmth, strength, and unconditional love. Her home was a place where laughter lived freely, stories were shared often, and everyone knew they belonged. She had a way of making people feel safe, cherished, and deeply loved, simply by being herself.
She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to grow through those who were blessed to know her. Janice is survived by her brother, Steve Turbin; two daughters, Debbie Fournier and Stefanie Beck; her eight grandchildren — Stevie Fournier, Vanessa Woodrome, Krystle Hardisty, Melissa True (Syvertsen), Kyle Stewart, Lacy Case, Justin Beck, and Sam Beck; and her 20 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Though she is no longer with us in body, Granny’s love, lessons, and gentle presence will forever live on in the hearts of her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
Services will be held Saturday, February 21st, 2026.
