Judith Lynne Boyles Nasser, a beloved wife, mother, nana, and friend, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter on November 5, 2025, in Gilbert, Arizona. She was 87 years old.
Judy was born to Blanche Wilda Fretz Hunsberger Boyles and Charles Cregor Boyles on May 3rd, 1938 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with a spirit of warmth and kindness that touched the lives of everyone she met. Judy was a proud Mesa High cheerleader, the homecoming queen, and a committed class reunion host. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Ed Nasser, and together they celebrated 65 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
As a proud mother, Judy raised two cherished children, Pam and her late son, Eddie. She poured her heart into her family, creating a nurturing home filled with love. Judy’s legacy continues through her daughter Pam, her son-in-law Todd Thelander, her adored grandchildren, Tatum and Jensen + Kelby Thelander, and her great grandsons, Grit, Benson, and Maverick Thelander, as well as many nieces and nephews; all who brought her immense joy.
Judy’s days were rich with a variety of hobbies and passions including, sewing, going for long drives or bike rides, and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially filling in the cracks with some ice cream and a Pepsi!
Judy’s heartwarming presence and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed. She left her daughter Pam’s arms on earth to be embraced again by her son Eddie in Heaven. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is watching over them, surrounded by love.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Monday, the 17th of November beginning at 3:00 in the afternoon at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home at 21809 South Ellsworth Rd. in Queen Creek. We ask that you prepare a personal story to share about Judy at the conclusion of the ceremony. Additionally, we will provide a memory book where you can write your thoughts or attach a pre-written memory for the family to reflect on later. Thank you for helping us honor her memory.
Judith Lynne Nasser will be remembered for her bright eyes, fierce love of her family and friends, and always being ready with a “hi sugar!” whether she knew you or not.
Until we see you again Nana, enjoy your bike rides in Heaven.
