With heavy hearts and deep faith, we announce that Kenneth Ray Zentz, age 63, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 24, 2026, in Queen Creek, Arizona, surrounded by the love of his family.
Kenneth was born on April 18, 1962, in Chula Vista, California. He lived a life defined by strength, generosity, and a quiet but powerful sense of humor that brought light to those around him. He built a meaningful career as an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry.
Beyond his work, Kenneth found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life. He loved fly fishing, skeet shooting, and especially sharing his passion by teaching skeet shooting to kids—passing on not just skill, but patience and confidence. He cherished time spent driving through the mountains of Montana, where he found peace in God’s creation.
Above all, Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Diana Zentz; his daughters Kelli (David) Saunders, Kathryn (Brad) Brandon; and five grandchildren Jackson Shields, Olivia Saunders, Tyler Brandon, Evelyn Saunders and Ava Saunders; and his sisters Rhonda (Scott) Dobson and Judy (Jay) Shrimplin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Nancy Zentz.
Kenneth’s life was a testament to faith, love, and resilience. Though the weight of his loss is deeply felt, we find comfort in knowing he now rests in eternal peace in heaven. While we will miss his laughter, his guidance, and even the moments he kept us on the right path, his spirit will continue to live on in each of us.
The permanence of this loss is difficult to understand, and even harder to accept. There are moments we will long for—conversations we wish we could still have, laughter we wish we could still share—but we hold tightly to the promise that he is in the presence of the Lord, watching over us with love.
A funeral service will be held on April 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at San Tan Mountain Funeral Home & Advance Planning Center.
Kenneth’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be missed beyond words but loved forever.
Praise God Ken’s suffering is over! We will miss him, but we take comfort in knowing that he is on the ultimate adventure with our savior Jesus Christ in the holy kingdom of heaven. We love you dear brother.🙏❤️✝️
