Linda Zilmer, age 64, died October 6, 2023, in Queen Creek, AZ.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 27th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti. A visiting time will be one hour prior.  Interment will be in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery following the service.  Lunch will be held at Wintergreen’s in Isanti.

A private memorial is planned with close family and friends on November 4th in Arizona.

Linda M. Zilmer was born October 21, 1958, in St. Paul, Minnesota to James and Irene (Howard) Henschell.

Joe was Linda’s life partner of 26 years. Stood by her side through her battles with cancer, she gave Joe one heck of a ride and kept him on his toes. Joe provided Linda a wonderful life together, always made sure she made it home to see her family often. They resided in Queen Creek, Arizona, and she loved it there.

Linda found happiness in her 7 grandchildren. Even though Linda lived in Arizona, she had a big heart and loved her grandchildren very much. She always made sure not to miss a birthday or Christmas gift. Sometimes, she would get the goofiest gifts and now we can all appreciate them that much more.

Baking was Linda’s gift! If she made banana bread it would be gone instantly. She would also try to beat anyone she could in cribbage, had a love for fishing, she would sit at the end of a dock for hours on end. She could make a friend anywhere! Talking on the phone was probably her biggest hobby, half the time after that phone call you might not have a clue what you just talked about. But she was always up for a good chat.

Linda passed away peacefully October 6, 2023, at the age of 64 at her home in Queen Creek, Arizona. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Tammy and brother, Tommy who she loved dearly.

She is survived by life partner, Joe Marihart; mother-in-law, Irene Marihart; brother, Mark (Lori) Henschell; sister-in-law, Michele Henschell and Kayla (Curt) Nelson; four sons, Trent (Katy), Brad (Natalie), Scott (Christy) Zilmer, and Derek Marihart; seven grandchildren, Collin, Logan, Rielyn, Emilyn, Brooklyn, Bryson, and Lily; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
