Michael R. McLaughlin, age 75, who split his time between Mandan, ND, and Queen Creek, AZ, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Mike was born on February 11, 1950, at the Bethesda Naval hospital in Maryland. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Darlene; his daughter, Michele (Ward), and their children (Alisa and Ronan); his son David (Jennifer, his favorite daughter-in-law); as well as his younger brother, Kelly.

Mike worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for over 35 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to play pinochle, work on sudoku and crossword puzzles, watch old movies and westerns, and he was toe tapping and chair dancing to his favorite 50s music until the day he died.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club in Mandan, ND on July 2, 2025 at 1pm.
