Richard Ybarra Padilla passed away on Saturday April 22, 2023. He went to be with the Lord and his son at the age of 70. He is predeceased by his son Bobby Joe, his parents, Jimmie and Lydia Padilla. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rebecca (Garcia) Padilla; their son, Richard Ybarra Padilla Jr., his wife Jamie and their children Kaylee, Rogun, and Adalyn; and Bobby’s widow, Kristi Padilla and children Jayde and Kaylei. He will be lovingly remembered by the remaining members of his family, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends. He lived most of his life in Florence, AZ, where he raised his family. He worked for the Pinal County Facilities Management Department for over 30 years.

He was a great man of many skills and known to many as a strong, hardworking man who loved his family dearly, and whose knowledge and talent was passed on to his sons and anybody who was there.  He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, whether it was at home or at their many school events. He was never one to miss an opportunity to show his support or lend a helping hand. He enjoyed watching his westerns, dancing the two-step to George Straight, Brooks and Dunn, and other greats. Of course, he also loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring the sights. We will cross paths again, in Heaven.

His Celebration of Life will be held at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, located at 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd., Queen Creek, Arizona 85142 on May 3 from 2p.m. to 3 p.m., with reception to follow.
