Samuel Brown Hodges Jr., 77, of West Point, Virginia, passed away on July 6, 2024, in Gilbert, Arizona.  He was born on December 27, 1946, in Richmond, Virginia, to Samuel and Susie Hodges.

Mr. Hodges proudly served 20 years in USAF as a Resource Management Specialist and is a lifetime member of the DAV.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Rusty Hodges; sisters, Marjorie Clark and Doris Johnston; and sister-in-law, Pat Collier.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Davis Hodges; sons, Woodland Hodges (Tara) of Queen Creek, Arizona, and Richard Hodges of Antwerp, Belgium; sister, Hilda H. Fauber of West Point, Virginia; sister-in-law, Sandra Nuttall of Gloucester, Virginia; grandchildren, Greyson Price Hodges and Caroline Rae Hodges of Queen Creek, Arizona.

A celebration for life will be held at a later date in West Point, Virginia.
