Teddy Lee Beaver, aged 82, of Mesa, AZ  passed away at home in the care of his family and hospice on Thursday October 11th, 2018,  surrounded by his loving family.He was born on May 15th, 1936 in Kansas City, Mo and was a son of the late Halley Comet and Mary Jane Beaver.In 1954 , he enlisted in the U.S. Army and became a sharpshooter in the Korean War.Prior to his retirement, just a couple of years ago, Ted was a cross-country driver. He loved the open road and could tell you what highway, what exit, what back country road to take to any destination with pride. His favorite past time was watching old westerns and talking about his adventures in the army, scaling the Glen Canyon Dam and his cross-country stories especially the ones when he would out run the Smokies and his love for vintage cars. Ted would do anything for anybody and was always there when his family needed him the most.Everyone who knew him loved him.He will be forever loved and remembered as a truly special husband, dad, grandpa, friend and a one -of-a kind man who lived his life his way. He leaves his loving wife of 60 years, Carol Ann Beaver (Tyler), two daughters and their husbands, Rob and Terry Cullipher and Joseph and Tammy Pedroso of Mesa. His grandchildren and great grandchildren; Sara Cullipher and her two children, Lily and Kaleb; Joshua Cullipher and his wife Caitlin and their two children Christina and Stella, Gabriella Renee Pedroso and her fiance Erich Rookhuyzen. His brother-in law Bernie Tyler Jr who’s was more like a brother.  His nieces, Debbie Tyler Mccutchan,  Shirley Tindall, Theresa Fetterhoff, Janice Corkren, Roxanne Stranghoener and their families, his nephews, Jeff and Donald Tyler, Steven and Jeff Swank and their families.  Ted was also the brother of the late Mary Jo Swank and Billy Beaver of MO.
