Travion Lacey Tarver, 22, of Florence, Arizona passed away on December 8, 2024. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 11, 2002, and leaves behind his father, Eric Tarver; his mother, Evelyn Tarver; his late mother, Terrica Wooten; his siblings, Briana, Kamyla, Ta’shawn, Alexius, Kaylin, Kaylah, Christopher and Barrett; his three grandmothers, Deborah, Virginia and Shirley; his grandfathers, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends; as well as his girlfriend, Terriona Griffin and her family.
Travion was a great person with a contagious smile, laugh, sense of humor and a heart full of love. Travion was known for his ability to brighten any room, his willingness to give a helping hand, and a listening ear. He was a selfless person who’d consistently put the needs of others before himself and the simplest things in life made him the happiest. Tray was very smart and caught on to a lot of things quickly and he’d use those abilities to connect with the people around him. He’d analyze any situation, and come back with solutions. Although he was empathetic, Tray was a man of logic, which balanced him in being a great voice of reason and an inspiration to others. He carried himself with ambition, he was driven to achieve the goals he set for himself and overcome any challenges big or small. He took pride in his work, whether it made a difference to him or not. Travion proudly embraced his authentic personality without validation from others, which made him unique in many ways.
We were all blessed to have Travion in our lives.
