Humberto Ramirez, age 88, passed away peacefully in his home May 8, 2020. He was born February 24, 1932 in El Paso, Texas to Maria Ramirez. He married his sweetheart Marie Ramirez on July 12, 1952. Humberto served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is a father of nine, six boys and three girls, as well as grandfather to nineteen and great-grandfather to thirty. Humberto was a great singer. He enjoyed mariachi music and loved entertaining his family with his beautiful voice. Music was a big part of Humberto’s life. Humberto is now reunited with his beautiful wife in heaven, a love that could not be separated.

Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle. He is my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my rescuer. He is my shield and I take refuge in him.

Psalms 144:1-2

Services will be held on Friday, May 15 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Queen Creek, AZ. There will be a visitation at 9:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am. Burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix will take place on Monday, May 18.
