James Boyd Walker, 63, of San Tan Valley passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2016. Jim was born in Montebello, CA to Boyd Kenneth (deceased) and Margaret Louise (Hood) Walker.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Cathy; son Christopher (Gracetta Greer); daughter Jennifer; step-daughter, Kim Tibbits (Rich Perrone); grandchildren, Dustin, Blake, Mandy, Vincent, Bryson, Elijah and Anthony; sister, Diana Walker, and brother, Gerald Walker (Stephanie); and many nieces and nephews.

He was self-employed for 28 years. He loved spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He had an infectious smile, a zest for life, and the greatest sense of humor. There is not a person that met Jim that did not like him. He was friendly and kind to everyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with him. He will be missed by many.

A private Celebration of Life for family members and close friends will be held at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
