I want to thank you for loving Brooke and caring for her more than you did yourself through all the good and bad times. Celicia, Nevaeh and Dro will never forget about their daddy and will send you red balloons each year on your birthday. The kids got to have their own memorial service for saying their goodbyes. Dro didn’t quite get what was going on but we did best to explain to him. He kept kissing your urn and asking to please open it because he wanted to see you one more time. And we watched the video that Brooke put together and it was beautiful. Dro kept telling me to “try” to open your urn but the girls and I got his mind off of that idea by going to the park after and sending you your favorite color balloons. The kiddos said the sweetest prayer and hope that you got the balloons. Thank you for having such wonderful children they are beautiful, caring and completely selfless they think of others before themselves, just like you Pete. I promise you that not a day will ever go by that we won’t miss you. We still can’t believe you are gone. Feels like it was just yesterday that I was this dorky little girl that totally ruined the suprise of you and my aunts engagement because I was so excited for my aunt to be happy and for you to be my uncle. Rest in paradise and please know that your children will always be loved and cared for. I put them before anything each and every day and love them as if they were my own just as you asked me to promise you that, it’ll never change. We love you! RIP PETE! ❤?
