Pedro Serrano Jr., born April 19, 1953 in his beloved El Paso, TX , most recently residing in San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2019. Pedro graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He began his professional career in California, and moved back to El Paso where he worked for the El Paso Electric Company for over 20 years. He purchased and operated a small business before moving to Mesa, AZ where he last worked for the City of Mesa. Pedro was a well respected professional, colleague, and friend. A giver by nature and a lover of science, history, and mathematics, he had a passion for learning and sharing his knowledge with others. The center of his family, he was an exemplary and genuine human being who provided for those he loved and always gave selflessly to those who needed it most. Pedro leaves behind a loving wife, Sylvia, of 40 years; six children – Pedro (Terra), Rosangela, Rocio (Guillermo), Adrian, Karina (George), and Pablo; and twelve grandchildren – Jorgey, Alexandria, Melora, Gabriel, Guillermo, Edgar Jr., Marcos, Camila, Diego, Lucas, Vincent, and Oliver. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Angela, and a brother, Armando. He’ll forever be remembered for his gentle spirit, warm smile, and ability to make everything wrong in this world seem right. We love you, Dad. You’re forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
