Sam William Oram passed away Friday March 4, 2022. Sam was born January 22, 1999, in Brigham City, Utah to Bill and Rachele Oram. 

 

Sam graduated from Queen Creek High School in 2017. He played football and ran track as a Queen Creek Bulldog. He led the defense and was named the 5A San Tan Region Defensive Player of the Year. He played inside linebacker for the Bulldogs, led the team in his final season with 93 tackles. He also led the defense with five interceptions. 

His coach said, “Sam is a kid who loves playing football, He was a reckless player who caused havoc for opposing offenses. It was awesome to witness.”

 

Sam loved being outdoors. He loved running, wakeboarding, wake surfing, hunting, and fishing. He especially loved spending time at the beach and the lake. Some of his most favorite times were had at Lake Powell. He loved exploring the San Tan Mountains and could be found there often. 

 

Sam was always quiet and compassionate. To those close to him, Sam had a unique sense of humor. He had a tender heart and cared deeply about everyone.

 

He is survived by his Parents, his older sister Sydney (Wesley) Chamberlin, younger sister Hanna (Dylan Ayala) Oram, & younger brother Cole Oram. Grandparents, Craig and Sandie Russell, Deanna (Lynn) Valentine, Ron (Judy) Oram and many cousins, aunts and uncles.  

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  21915 East Cloud Road, Queen Creek, Arizona, 85142.
