Tom, an Arizona Native, was born in Oct 1953. He grew up in Scottsdale and graduated from Coronado High School. Tom was a true Cowboy! If he didn’t have on his boots, starched Wranglers, a western shirt, cowboy hat, and buckle he wasn’t dressed. He enjoyed baseball and coached multiple years for the Mesa Little League, where his teams savored multiple winning seasons. He enjoyed playing pool and watching football at the local bars. He always appreciated a good pool game.  He was in numerous bowling leagues. Always in the mood for Mexican food! His life was encompassed with animals that ranged from racing horses, racing and raising pigeons, and bull riding. He always enjoyed a good bet! With over 40 years of experience in concrete/sand/rock at Rock Solid, Tanner, Cemex, and Chandler Ready Mix to name a few. He dispatched, poured, and batched countless yards for the valley. He loved work and always had the need  to be productive, so much in fact, he worked while battling cancer and enduring chemotherapy treatments. He retired in 2018 with Rock Solid. He was a determined man with a fierce fight! His fight ended on March 30 peacefully at home.“He was a man of little words and no BS” “He was a good man” are just a  few things most say about Tom. He is preceded in death by his parents Goeorge and Sara(Sally) Hill. He is survived by his two children; son Travis Hill, daughter Ceason Ray, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, live-in girlfriend and loving caregiver Debbie Powers of 10 years, brother Randy Hill, sister Bernie Garcia, nieces, nephews, cousins and an enormous amount of friends!

There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, AZ.
