Albert “Bobby” Harvey, 76, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, stepped into eternity on April 20, 2026. Born on July 7, 1949, in Altheimer, Arkansas, Bobby lived a life defined by faith, family, and service.
After graduating from Altheimer High School in Arkansas in 1967, he made his way to Jackson, Michigan, where he built a life rooted in hard work and community. For 33 years he worked at Die Cast Corporation as a proud UAW 495 member, later spending 8 years with Eaton Corporation.
Bobby’s life in Jackson was rich with purpose. He was a devoted member of Second Baptist Church, a founding member of the Jackson Amateur Golf Club, and a committed Freemason St. Nicholas Lodge #12. His faith guided him, his friendships sustained him, his love for golf and his Michigan State Spartans brought him joy.
In 2015, he embraced a new chapter in Arizona, where sunshine, family, and the golf course became his daily blessings. As a volunteer at Johnson Ranch Golf Club, he found community and connection. He was always ready with a smile, a helping hand, or a story to share. To know Bobby was to know generosity. He checked on loved ones daily, offered help before it was asked for, and lived as the person everyone could count on.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Joan; his sons Albert (Kimberly) Harvey and Aaron (Camille) Harvey; his siblings Pearl Collins, Doris Toney (David Jones), Mary (Victor) Evans, Nelzola (Sam) Carter, John Harvey III, and Melvin (Barbara) Harvey; ten grandchildren; and a large, loving extended family.
He is reunited in heaven with his parents, John Harvey Jr. and Ruth Harvey; his brother, Andrew Harvey; his sister, Lillie Rice; and his daughter, Wanda Kay Thompson.
Bobby lived with purpose, walked with Christ, and loved without hesitation. His legacy is one of kindness, faith, and steadfast devotion. He will be deeply missed, but his light will shine on forever. Heaven’s golf course has gained a new member.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home in Queen Creek, AZ. A time of visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm.
Joan, Albert, Aaron sending love, thoughts and prayers to you and all your families. Bobby was a great man and he touched so many. He truly will be missed. Please accept my deepest condolences .
Joan & family, knowing Bobby was a joy. Being his friend an honor. I will miss his smile, that cackle and his incredible generosity. You have Shelly’s and my deepest sympathy. Good Friday I told Booby we were returning to Iowa early. He replied, “I wasn’t done having fun with you yet”. Me either Bobby! RIP my friend.
To one of my funniest uncles, rest easy. I jokingly tell people “stuff I used to be able to do all day, now it take me all day to do” because of you. I pray that in time, God gives everyone comfort during this time and beyond. Love you unc.
GOD will heal your broken hearts and bind up your wounds according to Psalms 147:3. GOD’S love will keep you today, tomorrow, and the days to come. Prayers petitioning heaven.
Condolences to the Family of Bobby Harvey.
We will miss Bobby and we will always remember his Kind spirit. Rest in peace, beloved cousin.

Bob and I are so incredibly sorry for the loss of this amazing man. I do not think there has ever been a time where there was not a huge smile on his face:
We are so sorry for your loss
It is with deep sorrow that i found out about the passing of Bobby Harvey! To Joan,Albert, Aaron and family I extend my deepest sympathy ! May the many happy memories sustain you at this difficult time ! In memory of a good golfer but a better person who I am happy to call my friend.
To Joan and the entire Harvey family,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Bobby’s passing. However we will treasure the fond memories of him as a member of Second Baptist where my father Rev. A.P. Williams was pastor and being a resident of Jackson. We pray that you will lift up Psalm 121 and look to the hills from whence comes our help, as our help comes from the Lord.
My deepest sympathy goes out to the whole family!!! Bobby was the kindest man I’ve met at the Golf course, the stories the laughs and the genuine connection we made will resonate with me for eternity. Thru his existence I now know God is indeed real! Thank you Bobby for being a huge part of my life. With love your brother Coryn the pro shop kid ☄️🏌🏻
My sincere condolences to the Harvey family. May Mr. Harvey’s love and strength continue to comfort and guide you.
Lisa and I offer our deepest sympathy to you Joan and your family. Bobby and I got paired up often at the golf course and we always made it an incredible experience laughing and ribbing each other all along the way. Listening to his awesome giggle was as precious as my time with him. We always had a beer or two on the last three holes of our rounds giggling and Laughing all the time. Gonna miss this guy he was as friendly and happy and so much fun to be around there won’t be another one like Bobby. The last joke he told me was on the Thursday before his death it was about him escaping on a helicopter. Adios to you my friend hope your helicopter 🚁 ride to heaven was spectacular as you were. RIP Bobby Harvey and May you always hit-em long and straight 🏌🏽♂️⛳️🍺
