Allen Edward Porter was born August 30, 1927 in Muskegon, Michigan. He passed away on September 8, 2019 at the age of 92.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Bessie Porter; two brothers, Richard  & Carl Porter; by his wife, Barbara Ann Pallett Porter of 71yrs; sister, Marge Porter Fosgate (husband Jim); and sister-in-law, Perly Porter.

Allen and Barbara married in 1948 and had five sons, Dan, Dennis, David, Duane, Don (wife Angela), as well as grandchildren Michael Porter (Molly wife), Chris Porter (Brittany wife), Josh Porter (Hillary wife), and Kassie Porter, and great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kayleigh, Briley, Carson, Brynlee, Kasen Porter.

Allen served in the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He graduated from Richland Agriculture School in Richland, Michigan.

Throughout his life, Allen worked as a farmer and as a machinist at Consumers power plant in Michigan, later as a Real Estate broker in Florida, and a restaurant owner in Arkansas.

Later in life, he and Barbara traveled the country in a motor home and made friends all across the country. They finally settled in Florida and later moved to Queen Creek, Arizona.

There will be a graveside service at 1:30pm on Friday, September 13 at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, AZ.
