Barbara Zeidman Moore

November 29, 1942 – August 9, 2026

Barbara Zeidman Moore, 83 years of age,  passed away August 9, 2026 in San Tan Valley, Arizona surrounded by her loved ones at home. She was born November 29, 1942 in Monroe, Louisiana.  She was the first born child of Irving and Hazel Bandy Zeidman.  She lived by faith, perseverance and unwavering love for her family.  Barbara is survived by her son Robert Moore, her daughter, Rebecca Moore Chapman, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and sister, Susan Keffer.

Her love was immeasurable to her nieces and nephews, like a second mom.

She’s remembered by classmates at C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. Marching in the band at the 1959-60 Rose Bowl Parade was a fond memory.

Her family remembers her as the matriarch, loyal to a fault, loving and fierce, funny and kind. She was an amazing single mother who worked hard at her brother’s law firm (among other firms). She took pride in her work and was a friend to many and a second mother to others. She was often referred to as “the queen mother” or “Aunt B.”

Barbara will be remembered as a loving, kind and gracious person and her legacy is one of strength and loyalty.
