With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Charmaine Marie Kronewitter on September 4, 2026, at the age of 57, where she was surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Charmaine lived a life filled with love, purpose, and accomplishment. She found great joy in her family and friends and made a meaningful impact through a career dedicated to caring for others.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Orville Kronewitter; her cherished daughters, Nicole Kronewitter and Karlie Kronewitter; her beloved twin sister, Celena Kowalski, and her husband, Kevin Kowalski; and her dear brother, Theodore Hatala, and his wife, Maryann Hatala. She was preceded in death by her father, Dave Hatala, and leaves behind her mother, Helena Hatala, whose love remains an important part of her family’s story.

Charmaine was a generous person who touched countless lives and truly never met a stranger. She loved spending time in nature, working in the barn with the sheep and horses on her family farm, attending livestock shows, sitting around the campfire, giving back to her community, and making memories with family and friends.

She was a force of nature—strong, confident, and impossible to forget. Her radiant smile could light up a room, and her presence made people feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. She brought laughter and energy wherever she went and had a gift for making ordinary moments special.

Charmaine was unapologetically herself. She loved her makeup, her heels, and looking her best, but her greatest beauty came from within. She had an extraordinary love for animals and a tender heart for those who needed kindness. She was nurturing and generous while remaining fiercely protective of the people she loved.

She was also one of the hardest-working women you could ever meet. Her work ethic was unmatched. When she set her mind to something, she pursued it with determination and refused to give up. She believed in showing up, giving her best, and going the extra mile.

For 36 years, Charmaine dedicated her life to nursing, a career that was more than a profession—it was her calling. She brought intelligence, compassion, strength, and dedication to every person and position she served. Throughout her career, she rose to become a Director of Nursing and later worked in Case Management, where her knowledge, leadership, and genuine concern for others made a lasting difference in countless lives.

A natural leader, Charmaine earned the respect of those around her while never losing the compassion that drew her to nursing. She continued to challenge herself professionally and proudly earned her master’s degree, an accomplishment that reflected the determination and perseverance that defined her.

Her career was a testament to who she was: intelligent, driven, compassionate, resilient, and committed to helping others. The lives she touched through her work will forever be part of her legacy.

But beyond her accomplishments, Charmaine’s greatest gift was the way she loved. She loved deeply and without reservation. She brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of those around her.

That light does not disappear with her passing. It lives on through her family, her friends, the people she helped, the animals she cared for, and the countless memories she created.

She was strong. She was beautiful. She was devoted. She was kind. She was unforgettable.

And she was—and always will be—deeply loved.
