On January 12, 2025, Colin Chambers (aka KOKO) celebrates his new life with our Lord.

He was born January 9, 1943 in Bell, CA to Nora and Truman Chambers. His sister was Barbara Chambers and his brother is Jerry Chambers. His wife is Barbara Jean Chambers and he has two daughters, Charlene and Coreen, and a stepdaughter, Yvette. He also has four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

As a very young man, straight out of high school, he became a machinist for a few years. Then he became a crane owner/operator, until he retired the crane business. During his working years, he purchased a river resort in Parker, AZ and named it Raintree Resort where, in later years, he retired with his wife, Barbara Jean.

Colin was very involved in the community of Parker. He served as President for the Rotary Club and on the district board for the sewer development. In 2003, both Colin and Barbara Jean decided to sell the resort and travel. They went on to Lebanon, MO where Colin’s parents were born and where family members continued to live. They fell in love with the area and decided to make it their home.

As the years passed, the grandchildren convinced them to live closer to them. They moved to San Tan Valley, AZ, and made it home.

Colin continued in business by buying homes and renting them out.

Colin was also a member or St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. His very last wish was to drive us to church Sunday morning.
